TAIZÉ, HERE WE COME
The Vocation Advisors in the diocese are arranging a pilgrimage to Taize in conjunction with the Rev'd Jan Gould of the Diocese of Llandaff. The trip is aimed at those aged 17-29 and will take place between 24th July and 2nd August 2010. The cost of the trip is £200. As this pilgrimage is intended to encourage young people in their Christian Vocation it is hoped that parishes might consider sponsoring individuals who might wish to attend. The availability of discretionary funds will be examined in due course.
By way of preparation for this trip a Taize service will be held in each Archdeaconry on the theme of Vocation.
The first will be held at the University of Wales Lampeter at 5pm on Sunday 29th November. We need to know the details of musicians who might want to attend and contribute as soon as possible. Please contact The Rev'd Matthew Hill on m.hill@lamp.ac.uk or 07964 631997 if you are able to attend.
