ASSISTANT CURATE, PEMBROKE DOCK

An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Curate in the Rectorial Benefice of Carew. The Benefice, comprising a recent grouping of nine churches [6 rural, 3 town], is seeking someone to join the team of Rector, 2 Team Vicars, and active lay assistants. The successful applicant would be based in Pembroke Dock [pop. 9,500].

There is a breadth of Churchmanship and a strong commitment to the Diocesan ‘Venturing in Mission’ policy. Welsh is not needed. There is a well maintained, modern 3 bedroom house in a quiet part of town.  Pembroke Dock lies on the scenic Pembrokeshire coastline and has many amenities. It is well served by local schools. It has good road and rail networks and is a main port for the Irish ferry.

HOUSE FOR DUTY, VILLAGE OF LAMPHEY

The Rectorial Benefice of Monkton - covering the Castlemartin Peninsula centred on the town of Pembroke - is seeking a priest to undertake “House for Duty” responsibilities in the village of Lamphey, approximately 2 miles from Pembroke.

The person appointed would join an active, enthusiastic and supportive team of 1 Rector and 2 Team Vicars in this beautiful location on the south coast of Pembrokeshire, a substantial part of which lies within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  All services are in English.

A modern, upgraded, detached, 4 bedroom parsonage in Lamphey will be provided.
